Administrative Team
Director
Laketa Hill has been in childcare since 1998. She started her career teaching children aged 18 months through 24 months.
In 2003 she obtained the certification for Childcare Director and has worked in this position for nearly 11 years. In 1998 Laketa helped to establish a low-income at-risk youth program that provided low-income families recreational activities and child daycare.
Laketa is the mother of three sons and one daughter, she enjoys spending quality time with her family. Laketa loves children and painting.
Assistant Director
Amber Morris has been in childcare for 9 years. She joined our team in 2019. In 2021, Amber was promoted to assistant director, and she also serves as center cook. She is working towards obtaining her CDA and would like to open her own center one day.
Amber is the mother of 4 children, and her favorite thing to do is spend time with them.
Evening Supervisor
Sandra Willis has been in childcare since 1989. Her career started in Plainview Texas. She worked at Wee Care Child Center as an afterschool teacher for 11 years. Sandra moved to Denton in 2001 and started working at ABC preschool and childcare as a Schooler teacher. Eventually, she was promoted to work the front desk and close the center.
Sandra is the mother of two sons and has two grandchildren. She is a fan of crafting, and she frequently brings that love to activities at our center.
